Coronavirus Update: 17/08/20

Further easing of lockdown restrictions, while welcomed to support our economy, comes with a risk of increasing the transmission of the disease and contributing to a second wave of the virus. We have seen the localised lockdown of the city of Leicester recently and other parts of the country are following the same route if statistics show that the rate of infection has started to increase in specific areas.

As a provider of essential waste services in the East Midlands, we will continue to service our customers and will follow all the possible health and safety precautions to protect our team and the businesses we support.

From Monday 17th August 2020 we will:

  • Offer our full range of metal recycling and waste management services, where safe to do so
  • Open all of our sites for core hours from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday (variation exists at sites with some starting earlier or finishing later due to licencing and planning agreements, please call 0345 337 0000 for details)
  • All sites will be closed on Saturdays until further notice
  • Open all of our sites for members of the public and door trade – subject to social distancing measures
  • Continue with our employee inductions, ongoing health and safety training and carry on with working from home or safe return to sites where possible
