ELV Car Depollution and Dismantler (Car Mechanic)

Recycleacar.com have an exciting opportunity for an End of Life (ELV) Car Depollution and Dismantler who has experience as a car mechanic to join our scrap car recycling business based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.

You will be part of a team of recycling professionals all committed to doing their part in environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities:

– Operating a FLT

– Understanding how to recycle parts of each vehicle

– Ensure proper documentation and paperwork for each job

– Maintain a clean and organised work environment

– Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers

Requirements:

– Ability to dismantle cars

– Experience as a car mechanic

– Experience in operating a FLT advantageous

– Strong knowledge of vehicle recovery techniques and equipment

– Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the spot

– Excellent communication and customer service skills

– Physical strength and ability to lift heavy objects
