We recognise that our business cannot exist in isolation and we owe it to our customers, our community, our neighbours and our employees, to give a little back from time to time.
Working with our local communities brings a wide range of benefits. For starters, although we operate nationwide these days, local customers are still a vital source of business. By supporting our local communities we also believe it helps us to recruit top calibre employees.

How we get involved

On the sporting front, Ward sponsor a number of local football, rugby and cricket teams – providing kit and trophies. In addition, we recently supported a local charity to create a sensory garden and to renovate two community buildings. Working in England’s rural heartland, we are also a major sponsor of the Derbyshire County Show, an important event for local farming.

Internationally, Ward have funded the construction of a school in Malawi as well as Exiom in India, where our support has helped deliver education and resources to rural village children.
