Overview of the role:

Hours and location:  40 hours per week

The role will be based at Barking, London.

Key Responsibilities:

WARD are looking for an individual to assist and support the operations Managers and Supervisors at our site in Barking. You will be responsible for processing out turns for the commercial team and assisting other managers with general administrative duties. Weighbridge cover will be required during busy periods and holidays.

  • Respond to emails and calls and manage accordingly
  • Record data accurately and consistently
  • Build robust external and internal relationships
  • Manage outturns for the commercial team
  • Provide occasional weighbridge cover (training will be provided)
  • Assist all managers with general administrative duties

Skills and Knowledge Required:

The ideal candidate will be a good team player with the ability to communicate professionally and confidentially whilst being friendly and approachable. We are looking for an individual with good IT skills with attention to detail and a can-do approach to new and regular activities. The ability to show initiative when taking on new tasks or assisting others is also a key skill.
