Overview of the role:

Hours and location:  40+ hours per week, Mondays – Fridays.

The role will be based at Griffon Road, Ilkeston, DE74RF.

The primary function of this role is to assist with the sorting and segregating of material on the recycling belt. You will be part of a hardworking team of employee’s support in the recycling of 100,000 tonnes of material each year.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to your supervisor, you will carry out a range of duties throughout your shift:

  • Sorting and segregating material
  • Site clearance and cleaning
  • Picking line duties
  • Assisting fitters in general maintenance
  • FLT Operation (if qualified)
  • Other general Site Operative duties

Skills and Knowledge Required:

No experience is necessary for this role as full training will be given. We are looking for a willing individual with a ‘can-do’ attitude, who enjoys being busy and on their feet.
