Overview of the role:

Hours and location:  40 hours per week, Mondays – Fridays.

The role will be based at Griffon Road, Ilkeston. £24,000 – £26,000 per annum.

WARD offer metal & waste recycling to homes and businesses throughout the UK – from skip hire and car recycling through to nationwide projects.

You would be a key member of our administration team providing operational and administrative support to the Non-Ferrous function. The role will include coordinating UK deliveries, raising purchase orders, reporting on, and analysing information, and formatting internal and external communications, as well as general administrative support to the Non-Ferrous function.

Key Responsibilities:

This role will include various tasks, some of which include:

  • Managing the booking process for exports
  • Coordinating deliveries
  • Raising contracts
  • Reviewing purchase orders
  • Creating and analysing reports and data
  • Communicating with both internal and external clients on a regular basis
  • General administrative duties for the department

Skills and Knowledge Required:

Experience within an administrative role is essential however industry knowledge would also be beneficial. The ideal candidate must have strong IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Packages. The ability to work independently, and on their own initiative is also essential. Attention to detail is essential in this role alongside strong skills communicating with both internal and external customers.
