Ward have a permanent vacancy for a Load Inspector based at our busy Waste Recycling site in Ilkeston.

Hours and location

The role is based at our REDDOX site at Ward,  Hallam Fields Road, Ilkeston, Derbyshire, DE7 4AZ.

40 – 47.5 hours per week

Weekly Pay (£10.00 p/h & overtime at £12.50 p/h )

The Role:

The primary function of the role is to inspect, document  and record all material arriving on site using the tablet logging system. You will be part of a hardworking team of Ward employees who support in the recycling of over 100,000 tonnes of material each year.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will carry out a range of duties throughout your shift;

  • Site Operative general duties
  • Site clearance and cleaning
  • Picking line duties
  • Assisting fitters in general maintenance
  • FLT Operation (if qualified)

Requirements:

The successful candidates will have experience working in an Operative role, but not necessarily within the Recycling Industry. A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude who enjoys physical work will do well within our Ilkeston team. They will have aspirations of progression within the business as the role lends itself to ongoing training and advancement for those with attention to detail.
