Hours and location

The role is full time, permanent and based at Ward in Woodville, Swadlincote.

Please note that weekend work and occasional evening work may be required. Overtime will be paid at a higher rate.

The Role:

We are looking for two experienced Material Re-Handlers to join our busy team at our site in Woodville. You will be part of a hardworking team of Ward employees who support in the recycling of over half a million tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous metals each year.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have experience working as a Material Re-Handler. They will be self motivated, hardworking, team players who are able to work occasional weekends as required.

  • Operate crane and other equipment in a safe, competent manner
  • Monitor materials and report and non-acceptable material items
  • Reform material pile to ensure most effective grab volume
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment
