Hours and location

We have two Material Re-Handler positions available at our site in Immingham based at Ward, Mineral Quay Road, Immingham Docks, Immingham, DN40 2LZ.

One position is working days; the other nights both with the opportunity of overtime which will be paid at at higher rate.

The Role:

The successful Material Re-Handlers will join our busy team at our dedicated deep sea export dock facility at Immingham. You will be part of a hardworking team of Ward employees who support in the recycling of over half a million tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous metals each year. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will carry out associated duties with loading vessels ready for shipment around the world.

Requirements:

The successful candidates will have experience working as a Material Re-Handler. They will be self motivated, hardworking, team players who are able to work occasional weekends as required.

  • Operate crane and other equipment in a safe, competent manner
  • Monitor materials and report and non-acceptable material items
  • Reform material pile to ensure most effective grab volume
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment
